Sealcoating

Sealcoating will provide a layer of protection blocking out harmful intrusions such as water, oils, and U.V. damage, along with providing a slip-resistant surface with a deep black finish that beautifies the parking lot or driveway. Asphalt sealers are typically bituminous based products or acrylics. The sealcoat is in a liquid formulation of an emlusion, mixed with water, silica sand, polymer additives, and other proprietary fillers and solids. These products can be applied by brush, spray or squeegee. The earlier an asphalt sealer can be applied in the life cycle of the asphalt the better.

Our Sealcoating Process:

  • Wash area with high pressure water to remove debris and ensure adhesion
  • Apply Petroseal to oil spots to ensure adhesion to those troubled areas
  • Apply 2 coats of Sealmater Masterseal asphalt emlusion sealer
    • Silica sand is added to product to help prevent wear
    • Product is mixed with Zetec to:
      • Improve sealer durability by increasing water resistance
      • Promote greater adhesion to pavement surfaces
      • Provide sand suspension and uniform application of sand slurry mixed
    • Product will also be mixed with Top Tuff to:
      • Improve surface toughness
      • Anchor in sand for extended wear
      • Help suspend sand
      • Reduce power steering marks
      • Provide a blacker dried sealer film
      • Enhance resistance to oils, fuels, and grease
